About Eugenio
Eugenio Villanueva serves as a Principal of Transatlantic Power Holdings, focused on the sourcing, due diligence, structuring, and execution of TPH’s investment opportunities.
Before joining TPH in 2023, Eugenio worked for more than 12 years for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) and Macquarie Capital in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America.
During his tenure at MAM, he specialized in the infrastructure asset class, particularly in the renewable energy and midstream sectors.
Eugenio has experience across the full investment cycle (acquisitions, asset management, company turnarounds, and asset sales) having worked in 24 transactions worth more than $30bn, in both private and public markets.
Eugenio is an alumni of the Harvard Business School and earned a bachelor’s degree. in Public Accounting and Financial Strategy from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
