About Jay

Jay Zapata is CEO and Co-Founder of SATOKIE, The Premium Energy & Compute Company. SATOKIE is a Texas-based developer and operator of power-first digital infrastructure for high-performance computing. Under his leadership, SATOKIE has secured more than 500 MW of powered development pipeline in ERCOT, including two hyperscale-ready campuses in South Texas. The company has also grown to 50+ people across development, field operations and a 24/7 network operations center, with in-house low- and medium-voltage electrical capability.

Jay brings more than a decade of finance and operations leadership to the intersection of energy and compute. Before founding SATOKIE, he served as CFO of a $150 million-plus revenue organization and as a controller for private equity-backed portfolio companies. That background shapes how he leads. He uses historical operating and market data to guide capital allocation, site selection and asset optimization, and he treats power as the scarcest input in the AI economy.
