Ticket Terms & Conditions

1. 01Agreement

   These terms apply to every pass sold for the Energy Investors Forum (the "Event"), organised by Energy Investors Forum Ltd. ("we", "us"). By completing a purchase you accept them on behalf of yourself and every attendee named on your order.

2. 02Orders and payment

   • An order is confirmed only once payment has cleared in full. Unpaid orders expire and the passes are released.
   • Prices are shown in US dollars and include any discount applied at checkout. Discount codes cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied after purchase.
   • We may cancel any order placed with inaccurate details, obtained through an unauthorised reseller, or suspected of fraud, and refund the amount paid.

3. 03Cancellations and refunds

   • By you.: Passes are non-refundable. To request an exception, write to [email protected]; any refund granted is at our discretion and may carry an administration fee.
   • By us.: If we cancel the Event for reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund of the ticket price.
   • Postponement.: If the Event is postponed or moved, your pass transfers to the new date or venue. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you incur.

4. 04Substitutions and transfers

   Passes are personal and may not be resold. You may substitute a colleague from the same organisation at no charge up to 7 days before the Event by writing to [email protected]. Sharing a badge or access link is not permitted and may result in removal without refund.

5. 05Eligibility and admission

   • Attendees must be 18 or older and present valid photo ID matching the name on the pass.
   • We may refuse admission to, or remove, anyone who breaches these terms, poses a safety or security risk, or behaves in a disruptive, abusive or discriminatory way, without refund.
   • Pass types grant different access. Areas, sessions and meetings beyond your pass level are not included.

6. 06Code of conduct

   The Event is a professional setting. Harassment, discrimination, unsolicited sales approaches that continue after being declined, and misuse of attendee information are prohibited in person and on the networking platform.

7. 07Programme changes

   Speakers, sessions, timings, format and venue may change. These changes do not entitle you to a refund.

8. 08Photography and recording

   • The Event will be photographed, filmed and recorded. By attending you consent to our use of your image, voice and likeness in Event coverage and marketing, without payment.
   • You may not record, photograph or stream sessions without our written permission.

9. 09Your information

   We process attendee details to deliver the Event, issue badges and run the networking platform, as set out in our Privacy Policy. Your name, title and company may appear on your badge and in attendee listings. Scanning your badge at a sponsor's stand shares your contact details with that sponsor.

10. 10Investment disclaimer

    Content presented at the Event is for information only and is not investment, legal or financial advice. We do not endorse any company, speaker or opportunity, and any dealings between attendees are solely between them.

11. 11Liability

    You attend at your own risk. We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal property, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability in connection with your order is limited to the price you paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. 12Force majeure

    We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government action, strikes, terrorism or venue failure. In such cases we may postpone the Event, move it online, or issue a credit towards a future edition in place of a refund.

13. 13Governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes under them fall to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
